ELLE & MASH – Mission Hope

Today, the world collectively is battling one of its worst struggles. To help overcome this, ELLE India and MASH have collaborated to create Mission Hope: a venture to spread sentiments of positivity, faith and humanity around. As a digital campaign, Mission Hope aims to share pictures of celebrated names and their personal mantras of optimism and perseverance.

MASH’s founder, Shalini Passi, leads the pack with a message outlining the importance of positivity. The power of creating and cultivating a hopeful and buoyant mindset is simply healing, to both the individual and our planet. It is this belief that harnesses the possibilities of this initiative.

Raveena Tandon joins the mission, sharing her belief on the strength of hope. The fire of fear can only be put out by the waves of hope that we must hold on to.

Well-known names from all industries have come together to demonstrate their solidarity in the wake of this. Karishma Kapoor, pictured below, contributes her part. Together, the synergies we can create are unparalleled.

Manish Malhotra, the acclaimed fashion designer, volunteers his perspective above. Emphasizing the “freedom from fear; the flight of a new future; the glow of happiness; the dream of living the dreams”, he illustrates the potential of the “sparkle of hope”.

Raghavendra Rathore outlines exactly what is necessary to realize. The priority should be on our safety, realizing that there is no greater privilege than health and safety. At the same time, to understand one’s privilege is just as important, for the sake of both reflection and action.

With over 50 famed names contributing, Mission Hope aims to bring out these sentiments of love and optimism. Each quote emphasizes the mantras that are keeping each one of us going through these unprecedented times. ELLE India and MASH hope that Mission Hope is able to lighten the burden.
